Default Smart Tune Pro Automatic Tuning Module

I have a 2018 Tri-Glide with SE stage 1 installed and having the stage 2 installed. I would like to have the SE Smart Tune PRO Automatic Tuning Module installed. Has anyone installed the Smart Tune PRO on their Trike?

I have a 2018 with Stage III and the Smart Tune Pro.. Performs flawlessly at any elevation and any ambient temperature. I used to use the Thunder Max just as costly and didn't seem as foolproof.

I think you can go wrong.

A few things to think about. Is it really necessary. How much riding do you do that will allow the wide band sensors to come into play. I used the target tune(wide band) on a previous bike (15) with no issues, ran great. However it’s a proven fact that the stock narrow band sensors are more accurate in their working range. That’s why hd went to the narrow band sensors, and the fact of epa compliance back 2010. Both the tuner and wb module are epa compliant, which means you can’t really change the afr, timing etc to make more power. An aftermarket tuner is better suited for using wide bands. Does it work, I’m sure it does to a point. Is it worth the price, module + tools + labor if you don’t do it yourself, well there are better options. Do some research on the forum in the tuning section, a lot of good discussions(?) about auto tuners and what they can’t do. Good luck on you decision.

Default Smart Tune Pro>>>>>

AllI can say is I loved the do it yourself tune-ability of the Thundermax Tuner however I had Decel Pop issues infrequently on my last Stage II and tune suggestions from the Boys at T-Max didn't completely solve it. I ride in all kinds of temperature conditions and from sea level to over 8-10 K feet and the Smart Tune Pro seems to work flawlessly on this 2018 Stage III even with higher compression and higher heat. There are many other great tuners out there.......Your choices....are almost endless.
JUST RIDE
