Default Tri-Glide Longevity

Hi to all,
I am new to this site and have not yet purchased a Harley but decided to join since I am interested in owning a Harley Davidson Trike. I am very interested in how many miles are considered high-mileage on these bikes. I absolutely love Harleys and have always wanted one but am scared to spend as much money on a Trike as I would a new car when I plan on putting a lot of miles on it. I would love a brand new one but holy crap they are expensive and wondering what year and mileage I should look for if I buy used.
Any help would be appreciated.

Unless you can't live without all the bells & whistles of a newer TG, I would buy an older model. They cost less, are less complex, and reliability seems to be just as good as a new one, if not better. That's only my opinion, though.

If you go with a 2009 or 2010, check the trunk for mold or mildew in the carpeting; those model years had issues with leaking seals on the trunk doors,
