I did the stage 2 torque cam, CVO mufflers and SE high flow air filter before the ride home. So I can not speak of stock performance.
The results are amazing, lower gearing and plenty of power, not just on the bottom but at highway speeds as well.

I have no experience with a tri-glide but I came off of a ‘12 FLHTK with a built stage 5 kit to a ‘17 CVO Limited with the 114 stage 2, full compliant exhaust and auto tuner. While the ‘17 ran great and I liked the performance it was no where near my ‘12. I think you will be in the same boat. Once you get used to having the extra power at the twist of the throttle it’s very difficult to ride without it.
Good Luck..

That’s what I’m afraid of.

My suggestion is to try it first. Then decide. I find the 114 has plenty of power for anything I need to do.

My 2018 107 with Stage II was better but still lacking in my opinion when the Trike was loaded with Wife and our gear for an extended trip. So I had the Stage III done while maintaining the Torque Cam. All I can say now is that what was possibly lacking before is NOT lacking now. The Power and Torque Range are perfect. The Higher RPM Power Cam would not have been really useful for my Trike riding. Will be loading the trike down in another week for an extended trip now that the Stage III is pretty well broke in....If you do the 114 with Torque Cam YOU will love it.

I have yet to ride my 2019 TGU 114 out West so cannot fully determine if it has all the power I need/want? The mountainous terrain of the West is where one finds out if they have sufficient power to get over some of those 10-12,000 foot passes.

I did get another street legal sevenesque car a couple of weeks ago that I don't think I will have to add any mods to the stock crate engine that is in this 1860 pound beast which is only about 500 pounds heavier than my trike with an extra few hundred horsepower. Hehehe, it has a little LS3/480 engine in it that makes about 465 foot pounds of torque coupled to the 480 ponies. Yes, it is much lower to the ground than my trike. Hell, Ford Focus door handles are above my head when I sit in it. Just had to share my new bundle of joy with my trike brethren. Please forgive the off-topic post. Back to Stage II upgrades!

I’m gonna be trading my Limited this fall after the 20’s come out. My Limited has me spoiled with the 129 TQ and 129 HP. Would like to know this when i buy so if have it done will be covered under warranty.

Or you feel should wait and do it year down the road with a better tuner and good cam plus the decatted head pipe?
90% of the time a Performance Plus I, and a few other little things, will out-perform any Stage II. There is a foundation that one builds a Stage II on, and most of the time it is weak, resulting in the Stage II only putting out as much, or less, power than a Performance Plus Stage I.

No matter if you go with a Stage II or not, get the foundation strong first.

Here are a couple of links explaining how to get a good foundation...you may end up being quite pleased with the Power from it and never need to spend the extra $ for a Stage II.

I would be Hard Pressed to believe a Stage I is better then a Stage II unit. sorry DK customs The Cam and Free Flowing Exhaust and Screaming Eagle Air Cleaner lets The 114 Run Like a Raped ape.I had 40k on my 2016 Tri Glide. with a stage 1 kit on it. Not Even in the same Time Zone as the M8 then add the Stage II to it.

Default TriGlide 2018 with Stage III

Been putting lots of miles on my 2018 114 and the H.D. SE 447 Torque CAM......I continue to be impressed with the Combination....I can only say loaded down the Trike performs very aggressively and QUICKLY for a Trike. Anyone wanting a more responsive Trike will definitely like the 114 with any Low-End CAM.... No doubt there are several great choices.

HAPPY here

What's a Stage 5? I thought a Stage 4 was as high as it got?
