Angry Rear brakes shot

I have 11,000 miles on my trike. The rear were kind of hard to apply, I had the dealer check the brakes. The pads were wore down to the metal, and both rotors have to be replaced. I hope I get more than 11,000 miles out of my next set. No I didn't ride with the emergency on. Harley won't fix it under warranty. Harley is living up to it's name HD HUNDRED DOLLAR.

For what it's worth, the new rotors are a better material -so they say-and the pads are larger.

Some dealers were able to get them replaced under warranty and some didn't They are a wear item. I had 20,000 miles when I replaced mine with Lyndell pads. There was probably another 8 to 10 thousand miles left on them.
