Default New to the forum.....

Picked up my new 2014 Tri Glide last week. Last bike was over 30 years ago. This is my first HD and loving it.

Been reading these threads on tire and suspension air pressures. Most of my riding will be 2 up so I will start with 36/26 on tires and 35 on suspension and see how that goes.

Any other suggestions/tips on Tri Glide is greatly appreciated.

I have a lift kit, ride two up a lot. My normal set up now is 22 rear, 35 front and 22 shocks. Rides great! When I add luggage for a two up journey, I will increase shocks up to between 30-35, rears to about 24 and the front will stay at 35. YMMV

I think most of the shock pressures you are seeing are on Tri Glides with the lift kit. I also have the lift kit(from tglidestuff) and run 28 psi in the shocks. 36 psi in front tire and 24 psi in the rear tires. If I was to get a 2014, the lift kit would be my first mod.

I run 36 front, 22 rear, and between 30 and 35 in shocks. Mainly ride 2 up and fully loaded.

Congrats on your new ride, I'm sure it will give you miles and miles of smiles.
Post up a pic as soon as you can. We all love pics!

36-26-35 seems to work for us. 75% 2 up

Thanks for the info.
By the way I'm seriously considering making the upgrades you did with the pipes, intake, etc. primarily to bring down the heat and a little performance improvement.

Default My favorite measurements

I am happy with 36-24-34. Yup, those are my favorite measurements. I have Dennis' lift kit and ride mostly two up. So, 36 in the shocks seems comfortable and rarely bottoms out. 24, in the front seems to give a bit more traction and less harshness. 34, in the rears is a bit more comfortable.

That's what the shop manual says. So that's what mine is set to.
