Default Triglide fender rails

I think these would look good but has anyone put these on? Might have to take the wheels off?

Saw them, thought about it and decided it was one more thing to clean around. Not sure if they would serve any useful purpose. They are kinda cool looking, but no plans to install. I don't like the idea of drilling holes into the body work unless I really need to, like the fairing mount for my Zumo GPS.

They look like they would help in preventing an inexperienced passenger from scuffing the fender during mounting and dismounting.

True, but clear 3M film would do the same....I too don't care about drilling holes in the body, plus cleaning around them. If it were up to me I wouldn't have a luggage rack either....but wife likes it...

Thats true too,... but the edges of their soles can scuff the film.

I like them and will probably put them on my trike when I get a bit more money! I will also add the lights at the end. I also have added two strip LED lights on my tour-pak and tied them into my "back off" flashing brake lights. The more lights on the rear of the bike, the better. However, I still look into the mirrors constantly to see what's going on behind me!
