Default Reverse Motor Circuit Breaker

2013 TrGlide. Reverse quit while backing up on small incline. I believe I popped the circuit breaker. Manual says the circuit breaker is located in the electrical caddy. Where is that located? The little picture diagram they show is no help. How do I access it?

Thanks for your help

The reset is behind the right side cover. You cant miss it after you pull the cover off.
It is a red lever, just push in till it locks in.
This is a common occurance with the HD electric reverse.

HD recommends you rev the engine up some to overcome the load on the battery the reverse motor creates.

I heard that and tried it .
Kept high rpms and tried to back up a short incline and it popped the breaker, reset it and tried again at normal idle with the same results at the same distance. you cant even get a running start cause it only goes slooooow.

I think the manual says that if you engage the brakes while backing up then the breaker will trip. I concentrate on taking my thumb off the button before braking. Do you think this may be the cause of your problems?

Just a quick heads up, on my 2011 Triglide the circuit breaker lever is grey. Icebite is correct, its hard to miss once you take the side cover off.

FWIW I think the reverse system is inconsistent, some folks have the breaker trip on slight inclines while others don't. I've backed up the 2010 I had 2 up with a loaded Aluma MCT trailer without tripping the breaker. I think the manufacturer Harley uses for the breaker must have poor QC, you just don't know how much load it will take before tripping. The 3 years I had my 10 I never tripped the breaker. When I 1st picked it up the salesman hit reverse with the parking break on and the breaker didn't trip.

Ditto Ms03. My 09 has never tripped, and I'm a BIG BOY.
