Default How many have rear lift kits?

I'd like to start a poll on how many of us Tri riders have lift kits on the rear but I can't find out how to do it. Can anyone help? I'd also like to know if there are any handling problems created by the lift kits. Thanks.

I have had mine on for over 4000 miles, & wouldn't be without them. As far as the feeling in curves, you get that without the lift kit also. I could tell no loss of control. The steering is a little bit quicker, but it was welcome to a bike that had less response than the 2 wheelers. You can't do counter steering on a trike !
You don't put as much air in the shocks with the lifts to get the same height off the ground. This means a much better ride at the same height.
If you feel like you are going to turn over, maybe you need to slow down a bit. You aren't going to do any knee dragging on a trike.

I know of only 2 on this forum who have removed the lifts after trying them.
One said he felt it made the steering too quick the other said they liked the low rider look better.
Wife has had them on her TG since they were first available and has had no problems whatsoever.

.............I have 09 t/g.....I installed my lift kit at home....

...the directions were clear....the job was relatively easy...

...the t/g looks better with new stance...

.....muffler scrapes are a thing of the past...

....and maybe most of all....the handling seems better...

....I am very happy with this mod I have on t/g

Cool Lift

I have the lift kit on My 12 Tri as well as the tour-pak lift. Best money I have spent on the bike so far, lifted the bike so no more dragging the expensive mufflers & able to let some air out of the shocks. the tour-pak leveled & moved back two inches also makes the wife happy.
Tri-Glide Looks & Handles Fantastic. Did I Say Handles Great TOO!!!!!!!

Never scrapped the pipes. Got my lift kit around 1,000 miles. Love the look!

I have had the lift kit on mine for over 15,000 miles and love it. It is one of the best mods I did.

Put mine on last summer. Cant tell a lot of difference in steering but the lower pressure in shocks makes the ride more pleasant. I Haven't scraped my mufflers since I put them on. So to me a good investment.
