Default winter upgrades finally done

Ready to ride, everything I wanted to do over winter is done.....TTS 100 cams installed and dyno tuned, Khrome Werks narrow sweepers #300519, LRS 8" windshield, VPC clutch, removed cats and relocated sensor bungs, and from DK Customs, air deflector wings, comfort lift and outlaw 587 AC. Now saving for suspension upgrade from DK.

I put Comfortred's on the rear the other day.

Even though I have around 30k miles on the front tire (rear tire reversed), I still have 5-8k miles I could go on it. But since we're getting ready to leave on a 10k mile trip, I just ordered an Avon Trike front tire.

I've had great experience with the Dyna Beads over the years, but because of the puncture protection, I'm going to give the Ride-On a try in this tire.

Let us know how the Avon and the Ride on do. I have been thinking about going that way when I need a new tire. I have almost 10k on the original still got maybe 5k left on it.

Will do. I will be doing a Ride Report during the trip and will comment in there on how it handles the Twisties in the Ozarks, and the mountain passes in Colorado and Montana.

Will also be able to report on how well the Ride On balances the tire....hopefully won't need to report how it seals a hole.

Installed extended shift pegs and brake pedal from DK Custom. Pretty sure they have the best customer service ever. I hit them up Tuesday morning asking about the parts. Got an e-mail from Dawn with a link to what I needed. A few hours later I hit her back saying I had just placed the order. She told me they had held off sending out the orders for the day until I got mine in. I got the parts in the mail yesterday.

gotta love that
