Cup Holder Recommendation for 2014 TriGlide
#11
You could mount this one on either the brake or clutch perch (switch housing), or on the handlebar itself. Roadrunner, made in USA: http://www.leadermotorcycle.com/CTGY/drink.html

I've been thinking a little about this drink holder business. I have never owned a motorcycle that had a drink holder. Not sure why I feel the need to start now. I'll mull it over some more but I'm leaning towards doing nothing. They are unwieldy and well, just downright ugly. Haven't seen any suggestions on this thread I liked at all. Besides if I had one I would just want to put a beer in it.

Thanks for the inputs so far. I had a RAM cup holder on my 2012 TriGlide and I didn't care for it. So it has been sitting on the shelf in the garage. I like some of the recommendations but I would like to see them in person and talk to the owners.
In the heat of the summer when I do long trips, I do like to have water when it's really hot. I learned this when I was getting a dehydrated a couple of times and didn't realize it.
In some of the cool fall/winter time, I wouldn't mind having a coffee, sometimes.
It is very seldom that I do need one but if I wanted one, I want to be able and not spill on me/bike.
So far, I actually have been carrying a small softsided cooler which fits between the two TriGlide bags in the trunk. I stock it with things when I go on long weekend rides or trips but that is ok for when I stop. I've used it to pack other items when empty.
Still looking so hopefully this Spring I want to see the item and talk to the owner. So far the local Harley dealers don't have one that I'm interested in.
Cheers to all and warm weather is getting near.....YEA!!!!

I have a 32 oz Butler Cup. It attaches to the switch housing, with longer screws. The cup is a 32oz insulated cup with lid and straw. I have had it to hold ice for 5 hours on a very hot day. Plus the 32oz cup will hold a medium cup from Duncan Donuts, or some larger market cups with a cold drink. Just put the lid and straw in storage. The cup also comes in a smaller size of 20oz.
