2014 TG Oil Temp Gauge

I am interested in this. Ideas?
I realize this thread is 2 years old, but I really am surprised nobody responded. I installed one of these HD oil pan sensor gauges in the fairing of my 07 Road Glide and loved it. I would love to have an oil temp gauge mounted where I can easily see it. Obviously on my 16 Tri-Glide the only choice I have is to remove the voltage gauge and put a oil temp there, or try to mount it on the bars somewhere. I can pick up the voltage reading on my Power Vision on the 4 gauge display screen. Anyone in here tried any of this? I am not really interested in the dipstick gauges.

I have seen guys mount the oil pressure gauge in the radiator cover on the lowers.

Kevin, I have seen some post where some used the radiator cover also, but I don't really want to do that if I don't have to. Would a "good" HD tech know for sure about the CANBUS looking for the volt meter gauge? I really would like to put it in the fairing, however, looking in the 2017 P&A catalog under gauges, I can't find a oil temp gauge listed for the 16 trikes. I feel sure that is because it is not available for the trikes from the factory. I think it would be safe to assume one for a Street Glide would work ?
