Headsets
 

What is the difference between the 77147-98a and the 77117-10 headsets. Will the 98a's work with my 15 Triglide.

I think the biggest difference is the size of the microphone foam and the connector up at the helmet. Other than that, not much else. It should work on your 2015, but you should be looking for a cost savings over the 77117-10. I've used that p/n on both my 2010 and my 2012. Good luck.

I have 2 diff sets for sale. One is 77147-98a . forget the other #.. Never used them

Never used a headset before. Got the included one when we bought the 2016 TG but from what I can tell it won't work with a half helmet.


How many out there on trikes actually use these things? I am out everyday on my TG and rarely see any being used in this area.

I use mine all the time, it gets a little had to hear the radio over the pipes at highway speeds. They do have a set for half helmets.

I wish there was an option for ear buds with or without a microphone.

I do! most of my buddy riding is with one or more Goldwing riders. I wanna be able to tell them when I need fuel...they seem to be able to go on forever w/out having to stop. :icon_bike:

Cut the speakers off the set I got with my 13 Limited and used the bike speakers. Got two sets with the CVO and just started using them. Love the ability to not have to scream to wife and use voice commands on the bike is pretty cool too.

I use a Bell Pit Boss 1/2 helmet occasionally. Is there a good headset that will work well with the FLHTK system (wired)? I don't ride 2 up enough to justify the costs of BT units.

i've never used mine yet, but they would be great on a trip.
