Yes, I understand.

Unfortunately the Outlaw Breather Bolts for Twin Cams will only work with a/c backplates that are no more than 3/16" deep.

What if i got the 2" polished aluminum and ground off 5/16"? Would the threads fit the heads on a twin cam?

I do apologize for the delay in answering.... been a very busy week

The Sportster breather bolts will not work at all on a twin cam. The diameter of the bolts are completely different. The Sportster bolts are in 1/2 diameter, whereas the Twin Cam bolts are 3/8.
