Default Change rear ballbearing/Vrod muscle

I ride a 2011 vrod muscle that has been rolling 5900 miles. At the yearly survey I was told the rear ballbearing had to be changed. They sad they could tell by looking at the front tire wear.

Anyone who has a manual or what I should be considering when changing the ballbearing.

Agree with Hal64!

Don't know how they can tell from front tire wear that I assume you are saying the rear wheel bearings are bad? I would steer clear of the place that gave you that advice! I have over 50,000 miles and 12 years on all my wheel bearings and just put a new set of tires on and they checked out fine. I do not high pressure wash my bike however and have heard of people having wheel brg problems using high pressure washing to clean their bikes!

I doubt at 5900 miles you have wheel bearing problems related to front tire wear? Get a second or third opinion!!

Good luck and ride safe!!
