I had an 06 night rod but I'm 6-5 so I changed it to forward controls. I'm going to cut back on my riding due to arthritis and I'm thinking of selling my switchback and buying another vrod just for short local rides. I loved the vrod performance but long distance rides are not what they're for.

It is all making it comfortable for long rides. They have been turned into Road Glide Baggers and batwings. I have been cross country on mine with 700+ mile days and never had a problem with long distance. I added full size Iso, fully adjustable floorboards that mount in the stock peg location.
