I got a 03 v-rod and recently I was getting ready to leave and as I started my bike the speedo light went black. After I looked the rpms were working but the light was still off and the gas gauge isn’t working.

I open up the fuse box and and the accessories fuse was blow. I replaced it about 4 times and evertime I turned the key it blew again. I unplugged everything but it still keeps blowing every time I turn the key.

any help will be really appreciated!

 

There is obviously a short somewhere. Get yourself an electrical manual and follow the wires on that circuit.

 

Do you think maybe it could be shorting from the ignition?

 

I just reminded the seat with zero tools. It is where all the wiring loom is so check for a frayed wire rubbing. The above poster is on the right track.
