Can't reach V-Rod kickstand
 

My wife just got a 2004 V-Rod. She is 5'3", and can reach all the controls, etc., but cannot reach the kickstand to pull it back up.

Has anybody run into this problem?

try a reach seat on it you might get a dealer to possibly let you try it out to see if it helps before you buy it. it should move her down and forward a bit

Or the Badlander seat, which won'tmove her forward (you said she could reach the controls so she may like the current distance to them) but will drop her overallvertical seatheightby about an inch or so. One of these two seats would be my first consideration.

I have the same problem, and have the badlander seat and still having trouble reaching kick stand. It just takes a few tries. I'm used to it.

I'm kind of there with her. I can reach the controls, but the kickstand is tough. I had a tab put on it halfway down the kickstand that makes it a lot easier to reach. I can send you details if you e-mail me.
