I may be one of the only guys who doesnt like the front light on the NRS but I love the bike. I've haven't found any info on replacing the light so I'm hoping someone here will have something for me. I would like to either put a tear drop shape light (regular vrod) on it or find some sort of replacement. I have seen photos of night rods that don't have the cover on the light but I couldn't tell if it was removed or if it is a different light all together. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
I'm with you on this. I have been shopping around myself lately. I like the headlight and turn signals Exile cycles put's on their Rx-Streetfighter bike. I had contacted them regarding the lights and they said they get them from lazer star. (Still waiting for a reply from lazer star)
I also saw a headlight that resembled a piston....I can't really describe it but it looked pretty sweet.
to switch to a vrod or street rod headlight you will need
3832M (2 each) - The screws that connect the light assy to the bracket.
3709M (2 each) - The screws that connect the bracket to the triple tree.
67657-05 (1 each) - The jumper cable that separated the high and low beam to the respective bulb.
69860-07 (1 each) - The bracket in black that holds the light assy.
69873-07 (1 each) - The light assembly that had the black bucket and the bulbs included.
Not to hijack, but if I were to put NRS handle bars(part #?) on my vrod(I have the "d" instrument cluster) will all my existing wiring and cables work?

i would imagine, i think its only if you were to go to bars that are farther away with more pullback and height that you would need to do them, i have a set if you want them, you might have too much slack in some of the cables in that case you may need new ones. It is still a 1" bar in your cluster right?
