I'm looking for a stock exhaust system from a 2007-2011 Deluxe or 2008-2011 Cross Bones.

I'm currently stationed in Germany and they're pretty serious about noise emissions. Any motorcycle exceeding 95 decibels (dB) will fail inspection and be denied registration. My current exhaust measures 114 dB with baffles and stuffed with steel wool.

I borrowed an exhaust system almost two years ago when I initially registered and I'm striking out finding another to borrow. My local Harley dealership will rent one for €150, but that's a steep price to pay for a day of usage.

Where will the inspection be done? At the regular German TÜV?

 

As of now I need the whole system. A friend said he may have mufflers packed away in storage, but no header.

Regarding TÜV, ours is conducted by the US Army Europe inspectors. My current exhaust is at 92dB at idle and hits 114dB at the 2k RPM check. My gripe is that the inspectors are heavy handed on the idle and are only guessing where they think 2k PRM is. I know they're exceeding that, but you cannot argue with them.

It should've gone to the email address you have registered on the forum. Regardless, how much are you looking to get for your setup and what condition is it in? Although I was initially looking for something to simply get by for this next inspection, I may just keep the system on the bike since I'll have another one next year.
