Hello everyone,

Im Justin,

a 2012 Night Rod Special owner from BC, Canada.

Hope everyone is having a safe riding season.

Here is a pic of my bike to see what Im riding. Its a '12 Vrscdx with v&h 2:1 pipes. A airbox mod and a brand new engine rebuild. (Warranty issue). Im running about 140hp right now and she has tons of power. I have yet to retune it so am still looking for the best way to do that... so many differing opinions.

A few things I love about my vrscdx. The low profile, the hp, the sound, the wide tire. A few things Id change. Would have loved a 6th gear. Thats about it.

So Ive looked at most of all Harley models and love the Road Glide low ride baggers for when my back starts to hurt. I love the new Breakout so much and have mixed feelings on the fxdr although I love its potential. I like its look and huge engine, but am left wanting in many areas. As a muscle bike connoisseur, I would have liked the price to be lower. In BC this bike is 32k new which is way to high. My vrod was only 24k new and roasts it period. That being said the fxdr has so much potential I feel many are missing. First HD underpowers everything now so a good performance tune with some real "proper" pipes and the fxdr would have wayyyyy more hp. Second the rear plastics need to be stripped and burned in the fire pits of hell lol. I have also seen superchargers for it that look great on this site.

Anyways. Unlike some of the older crowd I love the muscle bike "movement" and will ride anything with over 100 hp. Love the vmax, xdiavel, vrods, even the new indians, and now the fxdr. I cannot wait to see one done out the way Id do it for my own tastes!

Everyone ride safe and Im happy to join the group. :)
