My "Hello" - Better late then never
A belated HELLO from NJ - Now my story:
When I bought my metric (Yamaha Vstar 650 Custom) 3 years ago after taking the MSF class, everyone told me I would out grow it in no time. Well, it served its purpose and was a great, forgiving, first cruiser. I even took it camping with a buddy for a weekend. However, as I improved my riding, I felt it was under powered and a bit light for the highway so I started looking for bigger and better. That's when I signed into hdforums. However, since I wasn't an HD owner I didn't post my welcome.
By now you may have seen my various posts, including my I Pulled the Trigger thread. So, I'm the proud owner of a new '19 Deluxe.
Thanks to everyone who has answered my previous questions, and those who have yet to answer my future ones.
PS: My old bike? The dealership gave me $350 less then I paid for it 3 years ago. I'm sure it's going to make someone else a good first bike too!
