Hey everybody,

Just doing a quick little intro. My name's Ian, I'm 29 and not from a Harley or motorcycle family but I've always wanted one. I got diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer a few months ago which is what really pushed me to make it finally happen. Not that its a super serious type of cancer, but it still gets you thinking about life. I've had two surgeries in the past couple months, took my MSF course a week before my 1st one and bought my 07 XL1200N 3 days after my 2nd surgery lmao. Nothin could stop me The previous owner did a decent amount of cool mods on my bike but now I'm ready to make it my own

So far I've replaced the front fork tubes on my own, side mounted the speedo, installed a LED headlight, put on round bar end mirrors, painted the gas cap, and just recently painted the dipstick bezel. What I'm looking to do right now is replace the tires, front rim (due to some damage), change the handlebars to possibly Z bars, and add a sissy bar.


This is my bike the day I got it

Any sort of advice, tips, etc are more than welcome!
