Howdy, New to this forum, not new to riding,
I started in 1963 with BSA, Triumph and Norton, In 1978 I bought a wrecked 1951 Pan, It took me three years to turn it into, what used to be called a 'Resto-mod' . I rode the Panhead for 43 years and sold it two years ago as I could no longer kick-start it and the rigid frame was hard on the 5 fused vertebrae in my back. I am in the process of buying a FXST,
It will be different, I never rode a bike without a kickstart, or without a carburetor.
I'm a low tech guy, so I'm sure I will be asking for help navigating an electronics controlled motorcycle.
