Hi All from Clyde the Glide. I've been riding on and off for 35 years, mostly Hondas of various displacements. My wife decided to take up riding a few years back, took the riding course and started with a small Kawaski, then a 750 Virago which I bought for her and rebuilt. This year we decided to go WHOLE HOG!! She got herself a 2008 Heritage Softail Classic and I was sooo jealous I sold the VT1100 Shadow Tourer and got myself a 2008 Road King. What a ride! So I've been reading a lot here about stuff and thanks to you all for the great pile of info....I think the first project will be handle bars. My wife's a real shortie and she can't reach the stock bars when she wants to get the bike in a tight parking lot type turn even though they're rocked back as far as they'll go....so we'll figure out what'll work for her (your comments or help appreciated) and I'll inherit her bars for my Road King. Last week end's first long ride convinced my \\;neck and shoulders that something needs to be done! \\;

I don't have any fancy pics or such as yet 'till I figure out how do to post one. In the meantime, thanks again to all. Dan...if you're out there....hi!

ps...the "handle" came long before the RK
thanks for the warm welcome....I forgot to give my location which is Toronto. I'm one of those unfortunates who have to trailer to Daytona....this year it was minus 16 degrees as we pulled outta the driveway....and snowing! Nice pics and logos you guys have!
