Hey!
Just thought I'd stop lurking around and join up!
Been riding dirt bikes since I was 12. Got stupid in my 20's and started riding crotch rockets, thank god never crashed one on the streets only at the track.
Then I got into metric cruisers in my early 30's.
My first hd was a 05 heritage softail classic. It's five speed didn't like output seals. Spent more time in the stealership on warranty bs then riding it. For me it wasn't a fun bike to ride. So I traded her off for my current ride which is a 07 flhx street glide. Nice riding and very great to drive. At first had the tranny noise then I did the oils and it quieted down. Got all the info from you guys here. I haven't done the ids yet. Is it worth it?
One of the reasons I joined is to get a few questions answered. Yes I know how to search but I haven't found the right answers yet. Only been lurking here for the past year and a half. Most of the time I will be using the mobile platform to view and write posts. It's great but you don't see everything or can do everything either.
Have a great time at Sturgis!
It's still there, just was out to the hills last weekend and had a great ride with awesome weather. Even went out to devils tower.
Enjoy the ride!
I know I do every time I go for one, eventhough the weather sux sometimes!
