New member from the Boston Ma. area. I have a 2005 heritage classic, which I do not ride as much as I would like. The bike is stock and I always wanted to change the pipes to make a more distinctive sound.I did some research and had decided on either bub or rinehart racing pipes.I'm 61 and I do not want a overly loud pipe I want that "rumble"that tells people a harley is coming.I found out that Bub enterprises is not manufacturing Rinehart products anymore and that there is not a slip on from either one that will fit my 2005 heritage. Some sites e.g.Dennis Kirk advertise a closeout model that there fitment chart says will but per Bub and Rinehart it will not.I'm back to square one.Really thought either one of these would of been a perfect choice.Any suggestions on options. How about Rush or Screaming eagle?????

Welcome, All I'll say is after 3 yrs with the Rush 2", there still on.

Thought about changing them when I did cams last yr but couldn't find any that sounded better IMO. It wasn't because I couldn't afford to change either.

The 2 inch is plenty loud for these ole 61 yr old ears.

Matter of fact now, they (Rush) are recommending the 1 3/4" baffles for best all around performance, they sound as good as the 2'', just a hair quieter and a little more back pressure.

Back when I bought mine (07) they thought they (2'') performed a little better and most were buying them.
Now after several yrs of on the bike trails, the 1 3/4'' gives a little better TQ down low. maybe a # or two...

Here's the link to my dyno sheets for U to look at if U want to.
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...-softails.html

I love them even though they don't won't give as good as numbers as a good 2-1 system would.
There fairly mild at steady riding with a really deep rumble and they'll really sound off when U wind her out..

Heres Rush's site...
http://www.epiflex.com/

Here's some vids of them from Utube... Just to help U so U can hear them...

Ride safe and have a great spring.
Welcome aboard HDF, From Indiana.
