Well I picked up a new injected Superglide yesterday. I took a couple of pictures with my camera phone so the quality sucks, but the bike is a blast to ride.[sm=bounceybounce.gif]
Welcome Tony! Do you still have the R1 too? Looks like you're from Minnesota! Me too! Check out the Breeze for Needs Motorcycle Ride on July 9th, starts in Waconia and ends at Donahue Harley in Delano. Should be a fun ride and hopefully it will raise some great money for Cancer. You'll find that Harley riders give more money back to the community than anybody. They're the greatest people on the planet! Congratulations on the new ride!
I still have the R1, it's a keeper. I live in Farmington and bought my Superglide in Albert Lea from Bergdale HD, they were great to deal with, no freight or set up charges.
I will be in California for the Moto GP race at Laguna Seca on July 9th, I'll be riding there and back on the new Superglide. My brother and I will be taking the scenic route through Montana and Glacier National Park on the way there, and we will roll through the Black Hills on the way home. All together we'll ride in 11 different states.
Well, congrats! You don't mess around do you? You said you were gonna get one, and now you have one! Congrats again. Sounds like a pretty long trip you have planned in July. Obviously, take a few shorter ones and figure out what you need to do to make yourself comfy. Nothing like taking off on a long trip and finding out at mile 200 that you've got a crippling pain that could have been taken care of for $100...
