gunna go pick it up in a couple of weeks, never had a harley before lotsa folks say there not reliable but i hope that mine will b had all yamaha b4
Not to hijack this post, but they are reliable. And who's ever heard of an ancient metric? Nobody cares enough because they (the metrics) have no soul. There, I've said my piece. You will have a great time on your Harley! Enjoy! .
i've been around just about every make and model motorcycle made.
Harley's today are no more or less reliable than any other machine out there.
They have a fit and finish that is second to none and a storied history that makes them an icon and embedded in americana.
i love HD and chose my FXDL when i could've bought any motorcycle on the market. But my best friend still rides a 1999 Suzuki Intruder 1400 I sold to him 3 years ago. And we ride together.
Anyway, thank you all for the welcome and i hope to contribute to the forum.
Welcome from Missouri and congratulation on the new bike.
thanks, the only bad thing about getting a christmas bike is having to look at it in the garage most of the time due to weather. I'm going to have to suit up and do some singin in the rain soon ... lol
