I have a 2014 breakout. I'm thinking of doing a 280 rear conversation kit from heartland USA. I welcome any feed back on any problems I may face as a result of the wider rear tire. Other than the obvious cost that is.

 

Considering you can do a 260 on a stock bike, what does the extra 20mm cost? I assume you plan to stay fairly close to home, because if not be prepared to put a 240 back on if you ever needed a tire on the road, as 260 and 280's can be a challenge to find in some areas of the country. Other than that, it's your bike brother, do what makes you happy.

 

The heartland conversion has a few other options that I want. I just haven't decided on weather I want to stay 240 or go to the 280.
