Cheap solution for lifting bike up enough to remove wheels
Need to take the wheels of the bike to change the tires don't have a lift tried a lift bar no luck. If I lift it high enough I can shim it.

I just have to ask how much is your motorcycle worth to you?

What bike? With dirtbikes I'd use a milk crate but the weight of a harley makes that a dicey proposition. You can usually lift it to get either the front or rear up, but both is kinda dangerous without the right tool for the job.

I only wanted to lift front and back up not both at the same time. Probably right not a good idea.

This guy posted if it was safe to lift his bike up with a tree earlier, must be good moonshine his way.

Read this thread . Last video in post 9, by me. I built 3 of these on the road. I would use thicker pipe with a bagger, worked as shown for my sportster and Dyna. They are cheap enough to give away. For the lift I use a racket strap that seems to be a trucker strapping device. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/sport...-question.html

I welded up some pipe into a 3 point rocker stand once to change a flat in the driveway, something like this only not so fancy. Google center stands there's even youtube vid's on home built stuff.

My Indy in town has one like twisted mentioned, works great. If you can weld you can put one together pretty quickly. You would be surprised how stable the bike is on one.
