Default Softail Deluxe Rear Wheel spacer placement

Well I have spent the last few hours feeling like a total dumbass so I figured I would share the abundance of stupidity and try to get some answers here.

To cover the basics,I have the manual and the pics suck. And no i didn't take pics prior to taking it apart.

Here is what I am looking for. Bike is an 08 Softail Deluxe with spoked wheels. When I took it apart for tire replacement I noted the location of the two larger spacers but after taking it out I noticed the thinner spacer on the floor. On Ronnie's Parts finder it shows it on the brake disc side but in the manual it shows it on the pulley side.

Does anyone know exactly where this POS goes? It's killing me. Also dies it matter if the lines are facing out or in on the 2 larger spacers?

The Thin spacer goes between the Caliper Bracket and Swingarm

The FSM may call for the "lines" to be to the outside, but it doesn't matter

These are the facts. I just did mine yesterday. I checked the orientation this time and couldnt see any reason to put the lines outside either. My '06 Road King had some knurling on one side of the spacers, so it made some sense.
