Default Pirelli Night Dragon GT TOURING BIKE

Anybody running these tires? Seems like all of the things I read about the Night Dragon's are very old posts and those posts don't include the GT version that was recently released...anybody? I have a RGU.

It takes quite a while for members to get around to commenting on new products such as tyres. It's a long time since I last used Pirellis, so I bow to tomoad's experience.

Seems strange, I had the tires in my cart at Dennis Kirk for about a month while I debated. I would go back and several times they would be on back order, tires are there and next day sold out again. They are either very popular or they are only sending DK a couple of sets at a time?
Either way, I have them now and once I get them installed, I'll let you know.

Finally have them on the bike (Wisconsin winters can really drag on!) and have put some miles on them. I'm pleased with their performance so far. I don't have a lot of miles on them but seems like they are much happier in a turn than my old factory Dunlops.
I will post back if I have any outstanding news but until then, Ride Safe!

The tires perform very well and I would buy them again but...
I have always had issues with my tires cupping and in the past it has always been the rear tire. With these Perrelli’s my front tire has cupping.
I ride 2 up 99% of the time and I’m not as religious about checking tire pressure as I should be. I too am looking for new tires and I’m seriously thinking about buying these again but I’ve never tried the Michelin’s and may give them a try. Not really sure but I do/did like the ND GT’s

I have the MC II's on now..got about 18000 on them. They are good tires, dont have the grip that the avon cobras had. I may try the Metzler 880. I have a 180/55/18 on the rear of my 13 flhx, thinking of a 200/50/18.Pirelli and Metzler are the only ones I can find in that size.. The Michelins aren't cupped, but the Avon,Dunlop E3 did cup. The Dunlop E3 cupped front and rear. Was wanting to try the Avon Chrome but nobody has them.

We sell them very often. GT's are bidirectional so we use them all the time for Fat 180 18" front tire kits.

Never have any back feedback.

We only sell them on baggers and as front applications so that is were our input is coming from!

If you need to order one let us know!
