ok I’m having problems with finding a rear tire for my 09 fatboy it’s a 200 55 17 and my question is “is that the only tire that can be put on my bike are whacts all the sizes compatible with my 09 softail fatboy

 

Are you deliberately looking or something different? There are plenty of choices from the major manufacturers.

 

well I Originally started looking for the same 200 55 17 tire but do to money situations and lack of resources I couldn’t find one I can get so I had a few friends of mine say oh you can put this size on are this one so with out a manual( which I’m buying today) I’m clueless on if they know wat their talking about so I come on here a lot lately see. A lot of people who know wat their talking about and would appreciate any help on to all the sizes that can be used on my bike. Also cool to know in case I want to change up my bike style and wat not.

 

You have a 6 inch wide rim. You can probably go down to a 180 tire (spec for a 5.5 inch rim), I wouldn't try less. 190 for sure. you may even find it easier to get it leaned over.
