FLHTK rear tire shows small slits along both sides of tire see pics. Harley said nothing rubbing in or around fender. Anyone seen this? Not loosing air.

They look a bit like manufacturing mould marks to me, however your tyre also looks to be cracking in the grooves and is also well worn. How old is it - check the sidewall. Looks like a candidate for replacement!

 

Absolutely agree with Sir Graham above. Those cracks in the tread are an indication of degradation and are in need of replacement.

 

Doesn't look like a manufacturing/mould line to me at all. Looks like stress fractures due to a separating belt. Get a new tire - now!
