Are different front/rear tires a concern ?

Hi all. It’s time to replace my rear tire. I’m looking at the 888’s. My front is stock Dunlop. Is it a problem to change just the rear? Let me know your thoughts
thanks

Some don't play well together. Couldn't say about the combo you're putting together though.

I've been riding for over 50 years and have only had problems with mixed tyres on a couple of occasions. You'll soon know! In that case change the other one pdq.

Never been a problem for me.

It depends on the composition of the tire. The Dunlops are a harder rubber compared to the Metzgers.
So they’ll flex differently in the corners. Not good, and really not good on wet roads.

I know a Commander II rear and Dunlop front didn’t like each other.

I run Commander IIs. No plans to go Dunlop. But dare I ask?
