Default handling

I hear that the Breakout doesn't corner good because of the fat rear tire, and it wants to drag in turns, could you go with a skinnier rear with a taller sidewall and a 23" front? Do you think that would help?

Are you thinking of buying one? If so ignore all rumours and test-ride one for yourself! Like all modern vehicle manufacturers, Harley tests extensively and don't normally sell us bikes that don't ride well. I can't see any way that a 23" front wheel will be beneficial, except for looks.

I've narrowed it down to three bikes ,the other two are the Sport Glide and the Fat Bob, but am leaning very hard towards the BO. They have done every thing I did to my low rider except for the big rear. I'm supposed to go in Tuesday to ride em. Last time I was at the shop I had my dog in the truck so I told the sales guy I would come back. Hope I decide on the BO cause I have already built a 5k parts list for it. The main reason I was asking about the tire hight was I heard it is easy to drag heals. But like you say, I'll ride it before I worry about it.

Had a chance to ride some bikes today, and the Sport Glide won out. I liked the BO a bunch but the SG just was a lot more comfortable for me.

To me, this is the best way to do it, instead of wanting somebody else to tell you which bike to buy. Enjoy the SG.

Oh I agree. I would never let that happen. I was just really liking that BO, but wasn't liking a lot of the reviews out there. I don't think it handled poorly just a lot different, and at my age I really don't need another hot rod. Hope to pull the trigger in the next three weeks.

If I were looking to buy a new bike the sport glide would probably be the one
