Default Is it me or is the thread showing?

Checking the alignment of the rear tire, getting ready for a long trip this week I noticed what I thought was a paint line on the tire and it turned out to be thread in the tire all the way around.
This tire is less than a year old might Dunlop cover it

Look at the third picture and you can see a little piece sticking out and there are several like that all around the tire

Well, you're the one there...If you think it's a thread, call dunlop like you said.

But it wouldn't be showing from wear

BTW, Make sure you send them that picture. They might say "Oh that, that's a ________"

.

Tire is being replaced, this was the Dunlop American tire. Another one is being put on.

You could actually take a small screw driver and it would catch the thread. Now would it cause an issue? Didn't want to find out.

My response from Dunlop was ,basically stop doing burn outs and replace the tire when the tread gets below X depth.
I Almost shot back, it's an 88 inch twin cam... Burn outs, need more power for burn outs..
After pics sent there's been no response....
O well
I'm covered.

Finally got a call from Dunlop, they are good people. Got information and contact information to return the tire.
New tire already installed on bike, all is good for me!

I will continue to run Dunlop tires do to their friendly service and understandings..
