I have a set of 777s on my Dyna and have 5k on them and they still have plenty of life. Between the tires and the suspension I am thrilled with how my bike handles. I can’t recommend them enough. Sorry they didn’t work out for you.

You're not the only one that likes them.

Some claim they work great but I’ve seen and heard more cons then pro’s about this brand. Saving a couple dollars isn’t worth my health or my bike. When the day comes I can’t afford a new set of quality tires for my bike is the day I stop riding.... Period

I’ve never heard bad things about them until now. I know at least 10 people that run them and all 5 bikes between my dad, brother and I have them on. The 777 line is great and has tons of grip. I’ve told tons a friends when they ask about must have upgrades I tell them mustang seat, progressive suspension and Shinko tires.

Well they are one of the few tire brands out there that do wide white walls in more then one size tire....I also know a few guys that run them and they all say the same thing, they stick to the road like glue....

With very few exceptions, Shinko tires are absolute crap.

With that said, are you complaining that you're getting too much traction from a tire that lasted 4,250 miles? I go through $1,800 in tires (three pairs of Pirelli Supercorsa SP tires) in 4,500 miles, just riding on the street. If I get 1,500 miles out of a pair of tires from normal street use, I feel like I'm doing pretty well.

Good for you. Now BUGGER OFF

Some of us dont see the value in changing tires as often as changing the oil. Grip isnt usually an issue with this style of bike, plenty of other tires out there have as good or better grip and last much longer than these. My intention with this post was to pass on my (poor) experiences with this tire and brand in this fitment.
