Default Front tire tread depth at 4/32 with 9k miles: about right??

Is that excessive wear for a Dunlop 408F front tire?
2015 Road King bought used Christmas 2017
Rear Dunlop 407T was replaced when I bought the bike.
I'm not a hard rider and don't have that many twisty roads here in the Ft Worth Texas area.
Maybe it is the Texas chip rock asphalt. (or whatever they call it because it is NOT smooth)
Getting ready for a trip to north Arkansas for some riding and going through a bike check.

Reading other posts, it seems the tire has worn quicker than normal.
I know it would be a "guesstimate" but I'm wondering how many miles might be left?

Thoughts on wear and mileage would be appreciated?

2016 street glide. Had 17k on mine at 4/32 when I got it replaced. 9k seems short.
