Anytime my friend. If your bike has tubes, I would put in a new one; I'm not one for patched inner tubes.

Bringing the bike to the dealership is the most expensive way to go for a new tire. Get her up on the air, concrete blocks and a couple of friends are good enough if you don't have a lift, and take the wheel off. Then off to the local Indy. Some shops are OK with you bringing the tire, lots of deals out there on tires. This is the cheapest way to go short of buying the tire irons and doing it yourself in the garage.

thanks
Let's see, an ambulance trip to the ER $1,800
Triage to the OR $14,000
Burr hole in the OR, $38,700
Recovery room $4,200
2 days ICU $18,400
1 day Step Down unit $6.200
Anesthesia and Misc charges $3,600

Hell for $340 I would just wing it.

I have had them patched from the inside if you can find a good tire guy to do it for you. I dont trust the tire plug but have use them a lot on my vehicles with no problems at all, its 2 verses 4 tires around town local riding you’ll be fine. Long distance trips i would but on a new tire.

I was in a meeting recently when an older lady said (regarding replacing a big roof) that going the cheapest way is often the most expensive.

I think that could apply here.

Let's look at it like this ... I'd venture a guess that the OP is either a newer rider or one that doesn't have the skills/tools to do the job of removing the tire to repair it from the inside which would be the better choice for a "long term repair" ... He's riding to work everyday and has a flat, misses a day ( or most ) of work ... Needs to get someone to move his scooter to the repair facility ... Jeopardizes his safety and the scooter by sitting on the side of the road waiting for assistance ... I'd think that ( in the long run ) $340.00 is a better investment ... Of course some Indy shop might offer a more attractive price ??

Spend the money and get a new tire. Invest the cash in mount and balance on your own mounting tools to DIY. It plays off in the long run !!
