Default Wheel Manufacturers

Just finished with some engine upgrades and next year it will be time for new tires. I'm thinking about dumping the white walls and spokes and going with some kind of mag wheel and black walls. The bike is an 04 Road King Classic. I always thought the bike needed the white walls to fit the style, but I just don't keep up with keeping them clean. The spokes have been a nightmare since I bought the bike.

Who are the players for wheels? I probably won't put anything really crazy fancy on and ease of cleaning is important to me.

Take off Airstrike wheels.. That what I used to replace the wires wheels on my 02 RKC.. They are street glide wheels, 2006/2007. You can still find take offs.

06/07s will bolt right on. 08 needs to have the bearings and spacers swapped out to 1 inch.

The 09 up rear wheels are too wide to use but you can find 18 inch fronts that can be used. The easiest is to find 1 inch 6205 bearings but you can either cut down your stock axle or by one for a say a 09 street glide.

multihdrdr is a guy that knows this stuff well, I would pose the question in this section and he'll verify or correct what I've written.

I've installed airstrikes on bot an 02 RKC and 07 EGC. I've run both the 16s and 18s in the front on both bikes.
