Default 180 rear tire up front

Anyone know about running a rear tire up front? Good or bad? Thanks

Not a problem

Make sure the rim is wide enough for the Tire and REVERSE the Normal Tire Rotation (i.e. Mount the tire to run Backwards)

The confusing part was, they now make tires that will work either direction

What I've seen (referring to Heavy Cruiser tires), is they just add the additional "postion labeling" (e.g. "Front" in your case) which includes the Rotation Arrow pointing in the Reverse direction

The result would be the same as what I said in the post above.

Here's a Pirelli Night Dragon GT ... it's indicating the direction when used as a REAR and then the other direction when used as a FRONT

Yes, seen that one. That's the tire that made me question, thanks

How about a front hub assembly for a performance machine wheel? Haven't had much luck finding one. Does Revtech still make them for late model, 2017?

A 180 on the front would make the motorcycle even slower, and make it handle even more sluggishly, as compared to a smaller tire.
