Greetings everyone,

Put the bike on the lift and have been doing major upgrades. Ordered a new set of rims, and I am stumped. Rims came in with 25mm bearings as it should have. went to put my axle through...and its way to small! What is crazy is this is a stock rear Night Train wheel. Why in the world would anyone swap to a 3/4" axle???? Bike is a 2009 Night Train. Original wheel and Tire. I'm the second owner, but I bought it in 2011 with 1500 miles on it.

Scratching my head....any thoughts? Am I missing something here?

 

You're not missing anything ... If you found a 3/4" axle being used on your 2009 Night Train ... Someone changed it and the associated parts that would be affected.

You weren't the First Owner ... Maybe they wrecked the Front-end and replaced the whole thing.
