I suggest you double-check the tyre size you say you currently have, as that doesn't seem quite right to me. Also a 180 wide tyre sounds much wider than stock, which I believe was a 150/80B16 Scorcher. To fit a 180 wide tyre will probably require a wider rim and may also require a wider rear fender. I suggest you visit the Sportster section, where some of them have done mods like that. They should be able to help you out.

I just put a shinko 777 series 170/70-16 on my 2013 model Iron 883. and I did quite a bit of research on this matter.

Maybe you did a typo I think your stock rear is 150/80-16. And math wise, your best alternative is 170/70-16. Both are almost identical in diameter, rotation/km etc, except that 170/70-16 look wider. The clearance is also good. This is no brainer swap. (Shinko recomended)

My own GUESS, your next best alternative is 180/65-16. After seeing the clearance of my 170/70-16, I believe 180/65-16 could fit too. However, no one did 180/65-16 on the internet that I can find without any modifications.

Again in my opinion, do NOT use 160/80-16, or 180/60-16 if these actually exist.
