Default Street glide wheel fitment for different years.

I have a 2012 street glide I want to put a 21" blacked out fat spoke wheel on.
I see that 00-07 and 08-newer and 08-newer with abs are different.
are the bearings the difference?? Can I buy a wheels for a 00-07 and change bearings to install on my bike?
thanks

The Bearings have different widths...

If you want to use Harley bearings, you can buy a wheel installation kit that will include the bearing shim and center spacer sleeve needed to make that work.

Otherwise, you can buy the shim and sleeve (or use your existing sleeve) from Harley and then buy separate 6205-2rs (or equivalent) bearings elsewhere

so the only difference in these wheels from 2000-2018 would be just the bearings?? Thanks

The 2000-08 and 09-later Touring Wheels have different bearing bore depths.

You asked if you could put a 2000-07 wheel on a 2012 ... "Yes" and the "how to" is above

Before I drop some coin I want to be certain. I'm sure this wheel will work with different bearings like your mentioned above. Unless I overlooked something
Look at this on eBay
https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F23 2500032573
(Not the exact wheel I want)
appreciate the info

Using that wheel above as example ... However good it "Fits" on a 2000-07, is how it will "Fit" on your 2012 AFTER changing bearings, center spacer sleeve, and adding a bearing shim.

Re-use your Rotors or get different 11.8" rotors (same size as your 2012)

Come back when you get a wheel if you need more specifics

Edit: after looking closer the tire/wheel assy, I would NOT recommend using "Vee Rubber" Tires

In fact that wheel looks like an Ultima 37-543 ... Here's one for $290 FREE Shipping and then get another tire (NOT Vee)

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Chrome-Ultima-48-Fat-King-Spoke-21-3-5-Front-Dual-Disc-Wheel-Harley-00-07/142937429651?fits=Make%3AHarley-Davidson&epid=1834218642&hash=item2147bc1693:g:73A AAOSw~X1bmtFZ:rk:1f:1&frcectupt=true

Sorry, the one above is the Black Rim/Chrome Spoke wheel ... 37-724 is the Black on Black.

No Cheap ones on ebay right now, but call Jireh Cycles 877.681-0448 ... #37-724 (21 X 3.5 Dual 2000-LTR Sealed ball 1”)

.
