That's A LOT of weight. Never seen one that far out, on a bike.

It’s a bit over an ounce on the front and about and about 2 1/2 ounces on the back.

Go treat yourself to four to five ounces of balancing beads stick two ounces in the front and two in the back, the spare ounce is should you need to added to the rear. Remove the weights and clean the residue off, job done! You'll never go back to weights.

hd wheels are usually pretty good so that leaves the tire in ?. when i run across this on rare occasions, i will try marking the tire and rim, break the bead and slowly rotate the tire on the rim (deflated of course) and find the best position and the go about the weight business (inflate of course).
sometimes, you will not feel any tire issues but they usually will show up in wear patterns.

Hi all,
I like the ride-on for balancing. In your case you might want to use the "severe dose". You could use standard dose to start and see how it feels. Here's a link to their web page about install info and dosage.
Hope that helps..... goldie

Thanks for the help everyone. I took those ugly *** weights off a few nights ago, and today I installed the severe dose amount of ride on both front and rear. All seems good on the test ride so we’ll see how it goes.

Personally, I'd remove the wheels, take it to someone who knows how to balance tires. They may have to rotate the tire on the wheel to eliminate so much weighting, I've gone the bead route, went back to properly installed weights. My two cents

Ooh, your advice timing was so close ... just 12min (and a few nights ago) too late
