Used Wheels or Buy New
I want to get rid of the spoke wheels on my 07 RK, just done with the rusty spoke wheels and tubes. After reading the sticky on changing 00 - 07 wheels to later model wheels and then looking for a good used set of wheels that will work without swapping other parts or possibly replacing used bearings with the correct ones, Sets of used wheels are selling high so I started looking at new after market wheels. Found a front and rear set of 16" Ultima billet wheels for $750, new 1" bearing and spacers installed and they supposed to use the original brake rotors and drive pulley. If I buy 16" wheels, I can reuse my fairly new 16" tires which can save money if installing 17" or 18" used wheels.
Any comments, good or bad on the aftermarket Ultima "Manhattan wheels?

Out of all the aftermarket wheel brands, the Ultimas are a lower middle tier. They are cast wheels instead of forged so they run way less but also you can't expect to get same longevity, show room finish, and direct fitment as with something like Performance Machine or RYD wheels. But the price ranges are vastly different. I would honestly go with a used or new Forged wheel since you will get a lot better quality wheel. Won't have to use bearing reducers or swap bearings with a forged rim, it will 100% bolt on. Highly recommend checking reviews on facebook on whatever brand you decide with, new or used.
Got this set of Twisted Blacklines in stock priced very low, also these Ion chromes. Both for $2000 for pair of rims, $2200 with set of shinko tires mounted and balanced. These come with lifetime structure warranties and warrantied finish, direct bolt on, so no mods to wheel to install.
