Default 2008 E-glide wheels on 2004 E-glide

Bought cast 2008 touring wheels and want to install on 2004 ultra classic with spoked. Trying to source quality 25.4mmx52mmx15mm wheel bearings for wheels. Hoping to use 2004 spacers, rotors and pulley. See posts on front being simple with just 25mm axle change but not much on rear wheel install. Just wondering if someone has some experience with this? Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you

If the wheels are truly from a 2008 (Unique Year), you would just need to remove the 25mm bearings, bearing shim (1) per wheel, and center spacer. Then just buy all the parts you would use for your 2004 Touring and install ... 2004 and 2008 are the same wheels.

Maybe post a pic for confirmation

Multihdrdr you’re 100% correct. Had local shop pull rear bearings. There was a bearing shim! Was installed on rotor side & abs bearing on pulley side?? Not sure what happened there but no difference to me anyways. Thank you for your help
