Default Dunlop date code detective

I recently acquired a low mileage 99' FXR 3 and don't have service records to validate the mileage. Tires look very old and may be original. I can't find the conventional 4 digit date code. Attached are pics of what appears like a DOT date code. Can anybody decipher this?
Thanks,
Dean

Yes, nothing that looked like a date code.

Found on the internet, prior to yr 2000 many manufacturers used a 3 digit week/yr code. Looks like the tires may be original and the mileage is correct.
Thanks

You beat me to it - lol

Here you go:

They used a 3 digit date code back then, last 3 numbers:149 = 14th week of 1999 or 1989 but suspect it was 1999. 169 = 16th week of 1999. Replace tires before riding, your life will thank you.

Tires Manufactured Before 2000

The Tire Identification Number for tires produced prior to 2000 was based on the assumption that tires would not be in service for ten years. While they were required to provide the same information as today's tires, the week and year the tire was produced was contained in the last three digits. The 2 digits used to identify the week a tire was manufactured immediately preceded a single digit used to identify the year.
