Default want to change from Metzeler to Michelin. Need your opinions on this combo.

I am running a front 120/70-21 rear 160/60-18 Metzeler 880's on my Deluxe. Loved the tires, got about 7k out of them. Would like a little more ware. No body else makes front and rear those sizes besides Metzeler. Thinking of trying a Michelin Commander II on front and a Michelin Pilot Road III on back, any opinions on that combo?

I have that size Michelin on the rear of my Dyna, It's a very good tire so far (only about 1000 miles on it) I ran about 45 miles today I the rain and was pleased with the way it rode.

I have a 21" on the front but it's a Commander 2 also.....Happy so far is all I can contribute.

Try a 150/70-18 commander II on the rear. $179.34

Went from Metzler 880s to Michelin Commander IIs front and rear on the Deuce. I really liked the 880s, I love the IIs. Way too soon to comment on mileage, but mileage is secondary for me, behind handling and ride. Very happy with them, but am almost certain the new Metzlers are great too (888s?). They were my actually my first choice because the 880s were so good, but local warehouses were tapped out on 888s. Worked out fine, see very little feedback on 888s.
